Research Progress on Migration and Transformation Mechanism of Heavy Metals in Drinking Water and Purification Materials

Abstract: Heavy metal polution has become a major environmental problem threatening the safety of drinking water due to its high toxicity, bioaccumulationand difficulty in degradation.This paper systematically reviews the main forms and migration and transformation mechanisms of heavy metals in water bodies,focusing on the analysis of their adsorption and release processes in water environments and related water qualitymodels.On this basis,the performance and application potential of purification materials such as nanoadsorbents,biomass modified materials, membrane separation materialsand composite functional materials are reviewed and clasified,the current technical bottlenecks areanalyzed,and the future development direction is prospected,aiming to provide theoretical and technical support for the treatment of heavy metal pollution in drinking water.
