Application of Agar Based Degradable Food Packaging Film in FoodPreservation

Abstract: Agar, as a natural polysaccharide, has broad application prospects in the field of food packaging becauseof its good gel,film formingand biodegradability.This article provides asystematic overviewof the sources, chemical structures,and physicochemical properties of agar. It elaborates on the clasification and performance advantages of agar based biodegradable food packaging films,and summarizes their specific applications in the preservation of meat,fruits,vegetables,dairy products,and other foods.Theaimis to provide theoretical references for the innovative development of food packaging materials.
