Analysis of Rural Drinking Water Monitoring Results in Zhenyuan County, Qingyang City from 2020 to 2024

Abstract: Objective: To study the water quality of rural drinking water in Zhenyuan county from 2020 to 2024,and to lay a solid scientific foundation for improving the level of drinking water hygiene.Method: A total of l24 monitoring points were set up in 13 towns and 6 townships under the jurisdiction of Zhenyuan county,and the samples werecollcted,transported,preserved and monitoredaccording to the GB/T 575O series standards, and thewater samples were evaluated with reference to the GB 5749—2006.Result: From 2020 to 2024,a total of 620 drinking water samples were monitored, and the total pass rate was 82.26% ,with a significant difference in the pass rate between different years (χ2=93.166,p<0.05) , the total pass rate in the dry season and the wet season were 77.10% and 87.42% ,respectively, and the difference between them was statistically significant (χ2=11.317 , p< 0.05) , and the total pass rate of factory water was 84.73% and 86.31% in the terminal water. There was no significant difference between the two groups (χ2=0.307,p>0.05) . Among the various monitoring items,the sensory traits,general chemical indexes, toxicological indexes and microbial indexes were 80.32% 91.94% and 96.29% respectively, with significant differences among the three (χ2=90.02,p<0.05) . There were 9 unqualified indexes, among which the total unqualified rate of sulfate was the highest (9.35%) ,the pH value was the lowest (0.65%) ,and the total unqualified rate of unqualified indexes in different years was significantly different (χ2=114.558 0 p<0.05 ) Conclusion: The relevant departments of Zhenyuan county should optimize the water treatment process, increase the frequency and scope of monitoring,and comprehensively use measures such as purification, water improvement, water diversion and efcient use of natural precipitation,so as to strengthen the supervision and management of

drinking water sanitation, so as to steadily improve the quality of drinking water in rural areas.
