Extraction Technology of Gingerol from Ginger

Abstract: This article studies the processconditions for ultrasound assisted extraction of gingerol from ginger. Through single factor experiments and orthogonal experimental designs,theefects of ethanol concentration,liquidsolid ratio,ultrasound time,and extraction temperature on the extraction rate of gingerol were systematically investigated.The results showed that the optimalextraction conditions for gingerol were ethanol concentration of 75% liquid-solid ratio of 20:1 (mL:g) ,ultrasound time of 30min , and extraction temperature of 50°C .Under these conditions,the extraction rate of gingerol can reach 5.82mg.g-1 , with a relative standard deviation of 1.85% ) This proces is easy to operate,efcient,and suitable forlaboratory research and industrial production of gingerol.
