Analysis of Pesticide Residues in 19o Batches of Commercially Available Fruits and Vegetables in Lanzhou City Based on GCQ-TOF/MS

Abstract: Objective: To understand the pesticide residue polution situation in fruits and vegetables sold in Lanzhou city,and provide data reference for relevant regulatory departments to formulate prevention and control measures.Method: A totalof 190 batches of samples were randomly selected from 15 high-altitude summer vegetables and 4 common fruits in Lanzhou city.Non targeted screening and quantitative determination of 691 pesticide residues were performed using gas chromatography quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry technology. Result: The detection rate of pesticide residues in 190 batches of samples was 98.4% ,with a detection frequency of 1 243 times,involving 95 pesticides,among which ethoxyquinoline had the highest detection frequency; there were many kinds of pesticides detected in oilseed rape and grapes,and the frequency was high; the residual pesticides are mainly low to moderate toxicity pesticides with low concentration levels; according to the maximum residue limit standards for pesticides in China,the European Union,Japan,the United States, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR),and the Codex Alimentarius Commisson (CAC), thepass rates are 96.3% 0 48.4% , 65.8% , 100% 99.0% ,and 100% ,respectively. Conclusion: The edible safety of fruits and vegetables sold inLanzhoucity is relatively good,but there is stillacertaindegreeof pesticidecontamination risk,especiallythedetection of banned pesticides such as chlorpyrifos,parathion,and fipronil, which need tobe highly concerned by relevant departments.
