The Current Situation and Enhancement Strategies of Competence of Secondary School Mental Health Teachers

AbstractObjective：To explore the current situation of the competence of secondary school mental health teachers and strategies for improvement. Methods： A questionnaire survey was conducted among secondary school mental health teachers.Results： The overallcompetence level of secondaryschool mental health teachers is good; there is no significant difference incompetence between teachers of diffrent genders; teachers with5 years or more ofexperience outperform those with 1 year or less in most factors and overallcompetency; teachers holding administrative positions have advantages in all factors and the total score.Based on these findings，this paper proposes the following strategies： constructing a scientific and reasonable competence system; emphasizing professionaltraining and optimizing training formats and content; supporting the rapid growth of teachers with fewer years of experience; encouraging teachers to take on administrative positions.
