Abstract:RareMetal Metalurgyisanimportantcorecourseinmetalurgymajors.Thiscoursecoversawiderageof content,hasacomprehensiveknowledgesystem,anddistinctivefeatures.AimingattheshortcomingsoftraditionalcourseofRare Metal Metallrgy,suchasoutdatedtextbookandsingle teachingmethods,theteachingreformwasexploredbasedontheOBE conceptandMOOC platforminthispaper.A"goldenclass"withhighorder,innovativeandchallnges wasaimedtocreate through measuressuchasrevisingthecousesyllabus,conductingasurveyontheconstructionof goldencourses,buildingonline courseresources,designingandimplementingflippedclasroomteaching,andbringingenterpriseexpertsintotheclassroom.The practicalresultsowsthattheteachingabilityofthecourseteamhasbeenoveralimproved,thecuriculumresourceshavebee integratedandoptimized,andthestudentsleaminginterestandteachingqualityhavebenefectivelyenhancedbyusingthe educational reform measures.
