Abstract：Fortheprogrammaticaccreditationofengineeringeducation，theMajorof CommunicationEngineeringinHefei UniversityofTechnologyhasnewlyrevisedthecuriculumsystem."RadioWavePropagation"isoneof thekeycoursesandwel relatedwiththecoursesof "ElectromagneticFieldsandWaves"，"Mobile Communication"，and"PrinciplesofRadar".Itis typicallycharacterizedbyawidecoverageofknowledgeandsignificantfeaturesofenginering.Topromotethetrainingof engineersandresearchers，thispaperinvestigatestheteachingexplorationof"RadioWavePropagation"basedonthefusionof researchandteaching.Afteranalyzingthecharacteristicsofthecuriculumandourownresearch，weintroducetheresearch achievementsandideaintothewholeprocessofteaching，includingpresentingtheexperimentofwirelesscommunicationbased onvortexelectromagneticwaveonclass，guidingstudentstoparticipateresearchprogramandinstructingCollge Students" InovativEntrepreneurialTrainingPlan（CSIETP）ProgramafterclassTherelatedstudentshavepublishedoneresearchpaper andfinishedtwoCSIETPprogramssofar.Itisdemonstratedthatthedeepfusionofresearchandteachinghassignificantly promoted the training of practical ability and innovative thinking.
