Abstract：Accordingtotherequirementsoftheneweraand"EmergingEnginering Education”reform，aplication-oriented undergraduatecollgesnedtoadapttothedevelopmentdemandsoflocaleconomyandsociety，andcultivateaplicationorientedtalentsguidedbyengineringpractice.ThispapertakesthecommunicationengineeringmajorofXiamenUniversityof Technologyasanexample，takestheimprovementofstudentsabilitytosolvecomplexengineringproblemsasastartingpoint， summarizestheshortcomingsofcurrntstudentsablity，sortsouttheshortcomingsofexistingexperimentalcoursesand experimentalteaching，andformsthereformideasandreformmeasuresofexperimentalteaching.Bysortingoutthecuiculum system，refiningtheexperimentaltopics，introducingvirtualsimulationexperimentteaching，andthentheconceptofmoral education，knowledgeandactionintegrationthoughoutteholeouse，itachevesacomprehensiveimprovementofsudents practice ability，innovation ability，and ability to solve complex engineering problems.
