Abstract：Inthecontextof thenewera，withchangesintheinternationalmanufacturinglandscapeandadjustmentsinthe domesticindustrial structure，theindustry'sdemandfortalenthasevolved.Theexpectationsforgraduateshaveshiftedfroma solidfoundationofbasicknowledgetoacross-disciplinaryknowledgestructureandpracticaliovationcapabiliesforrapidly solvingcomplexenginering problems.Traditionalengineering educationarefacing significantchalenges.Thispapersummarizes themainissesidentifiedduringthesupervisionofundergraduatethesisprojectsinmechanicalengineringandreflectsonthe causesof theseissuesandpotentialsolutions.Undertheneweducationalenvironment，implementingandrefiningproject-based teachinginmajorprofessionalcoursesandpromotingshoolenterprisecollborativeeducationduringthethesisstagearekeyt addressing these challenges.
