AbstractThis paperaims to explore the importance andimplementation paths of innovating teaching strategies based onhistoricalmaterialism.Through theoreticalanalysis，itexpounds onthecrucial guidingroleofhistoricalmaterialism in teaching，such as laying the theoretical foundation，clarifying the value orientation，andoptimizing the logical framework. Furthermore， it proposes innovative teaching strategies， including tracing historical contexts， interdisciplinary integration，strengthening practical experience，and leveraging digital technology to innovate teaching presentation， so as to improve teaching effectivenes， promote students' understanding and application of Marxist principles，and provide theoretical support and practical guidance for cultivating talents who meet the needs of the times.
