Outlook for the Application of Large Model in the Manufacturing Industry

Abstract:Large model is driving anew wave of technological innovationand industrial tansformation,catalyzing emerging business models and injecting new momentum into economic growth.As a pilar of the real economy, the manufacturing sector stands to gain substantiall from the deep integrationoflarge model. Accelerating their adoption is critical toadvancing the vision of amodern, innovation-driven manufacturing powerhouse. Currently,large model has demonstrated promising yet fragmented applications acrossvarious stages of the manufacturing lifecycle— including design,production,operations,and management.In the future,anintegrated ecosystem of collaborative models,AI agent,and embodied intelligence may reshape the sector byenabling full-processoptimization.Despite these advancements,significant challnges persist: limited domain-specific capabilities,restricted access to highquality industrialdata,highdeploymentcosts,andashortageofinterdisciplinarytalent.Addresingthesebottlenecks requires promoting open-source innovation, developing comprehensive industrial datasets, expanding computing infrastructure,andcultivatinghigh-level talents.Suchefforts willbevital toachieving high-end,inteligent,and sustainable development in manufacturing.
