Abstract:Aimingat thehidden dangers ofgas leakage,fireand illgal intrusion inmodernresidential environment,this paper proposes adesignschemeofintelligent alarm system based on the Internet of Things and ZigBee wirelesscommunication protocol.The system consists ofmultiple sensor nodes,ZigBee coordinators,routers, anduppercomputer monitoring software,aiming toachievereal-time monitoring of indoor environmental parameters and immediate response to abnormal situations.Each terminal node is equipped with temperatureand humidity sensorsandother devices tocolect local environmentaldata,and the information is transmitted to thecentral coordinatorthrougha ZigBeeself-organizing network.Thecoordinatorisresponsible for processing thereceiveddata andtransmitting ittotheuppercomputerviaaserial interfaceornetworkconnection,alowingusers tointuitively monitorthe status ofeach monitoring pointthroughagraphicalinterface.Theexperimentalresultsshowthatthe alarm systemconstructed inthis scheme has high sensitivityandreliabilityandcanquicklyissue alarms whenpotential dangersaredetected.Atthesame time,itsimplifies theoperationprocessand efectivelyreduces deploymentcosts.
