Abstract:As the core transmissioncarrierof the information network,the reliability and stability of optical cables directlydeterminetheefficientoperationofthenetwork,whileopticalcablefaultsseverelyconstrainthequality of network services.To this end,this paper proposesa noveloptical cablefault locationsystem that integrates BIM and GIS technologies to achieve visualization of the surrounding environment offault points and precise positioning, providing an efcient solution for the operation and maintenance of communication networks.
