Analysis of DDoS Abnormal Attack Detection Technology Based on SDN Architecture

Abstract: With the rapid development of Internet, distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack has become one of the major challenges in the field of network security.DDoSattacks attack the target server through alarge amountof traffic,which willseriouslyaffecttheavailabilityofnetworkservices.Inorder to improve thedetection effciencyand accuracy of DDoS atacks, Software Defined Network (SDN)architecture,as a new network architecture,provides abrand-new solution for network security protection through centralized controland programmability.Based onan overview of SDNarchitecture andtheprinciple and characteristics of DDoSabnormalatacks,this paper analyzes and discusses its detection technology, which provides a reference for effectively dealing with attacks.
