Abstract：With the continuous development of the power system，the reliability of power communication equipment is becoming more and more important.This article first elaborates the current research status of domestic and foreign research，and then analyzes the common faults of modern communication equipment and the alarm characteristics of the monitoring system. Improve the efciency offault predictionand diagnosis.
