Abstract：The introduction of smart water management systems has significantly enhanced the technological automation level of water plants，not only greatly improving work efciencyandquality，but alsoeffectivelyreducing the burdenonhuman resources.Inrecent years，the vigorous development of Internetof Things technology has injected new vitality and strong support into the construction and optimization of smart water systems.It is of great practicalsignificancetoexplore thespecificapplicationsofInternetofThings technologyinthefieldof smart water，which can promote smart water toachieve new leapsonthe existing basis.Thisarticle mainly introduces IoT technologyand smart water management，andexplores theapplicationofIoTtechnologyinsmart water management for reference.
