Abstract: With the rapid development of civil aviation, the number of new air ground communication applications is gradually increasing.In the future,the aviation telecommunication network will graduallydevelop into the aviation telecommunication network/Internet Protocol Suite (ATN/IPS for short).This article introduces the development trend of ATN/IPS,the protocol systemand main links of ATN/IPS.Aiming at the key issue of mobility management in ATN/IPS,this paper analyzes the general architecture of mobility management, compares several enhanced mobility management schemes,analyzes thecharacteristics of VHF Digital Link Mode2 (VDL M2) using the aviation very high frequency link control protocol,studies a scheme for implementing ATN/IPS mobility management basedon VDL M2 and proxy mobile IPv6 protocol,and proposes aspecific scheme forair ground transmisson signaling flow and link switching based on the aviation very high frequency link control protocol.
