Determination of Phenolic Acids in Fruits by High Performance Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry

Abstract: Establish a detection method for phenolic acids in fruit using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry The nine phenolic acids showed good linearity in the range of 0.5ngmL-1 to 500.0ng?mL-1 (R2>0.998) ,with detection limits as low as 0.10ng?mL-1 to 0.25ng?mL-1 and quantification limits between 0.33ng?mL-1 to 0.83ng?mL-1 . The recovery rate was 82.9% to 116.2% ,and the relative standard deviation was between 2.4% to 6.1% .Actual sample testing shows that there are differences in the composition and content of phenolic acidsamong the three fruits.Blueberries have the highest totalphenolic acid content,followed by strawberies,and grapefruit has the lowest.This method has high sensitivityand good accuracy,and the research results provide reference for fruit quality evaluation, nutritional analysis, and functional food development.
