Research on the Current Situation and Optimization Strategies of Physical Education Teaching in Middle School in Underdeveloped Western Regions

School of Education and Physical Education,Longdong University,Qingyang, Gansu Province,745ooo China [Abstract] This research focuses on the present situation of middle school physical education teaching in underdeveloped western regions,and selects Yima Midde School in Qingcheng County as the case study object. Through the comprehensive useof literature review,interviewandanalysis methods,an in-depth investigation and analysis were conducted on the follwing aspects of the school: the achievement degree of physical education resources teaching content and goals,allocationandutilization of physical education teaching resources,the setingand implementation of physical education curiculum,and the teaching quality evaluation and feedback mechanism of physical education teachingquality.Theresearch aims toreveal theexisting problems and put forwardthetargetedoptimizationstrategies andimprovement measures basedonthem.These suggestions aimtoprovide practicalreferenceand theoreticalsupport forthe development ofmiddle school physical education in underdeveloped western regions,thereby promoting regional educational equity and the comprehensive development of students.
