AbstractWith the development of the economyand the progress of science and technology,the transformation and upgrading of industries are imperative. Cultivating high-quality talents urgently needed in the new era inline with the development rend ofindustries is acommon issue faced by universities.Taking the automation majorofLiuzhou Institute ofTechnologyasanexample,this paper analyzes thecurrnt situationof industry-education integration in the majorand the deficiencies in talentcultivation. Aiming atthese problems,combining withthe development goals ofLiuzhou Modem Manufacturing Cityandfocusing on the two directionsof industrial robotsand inteligent manufacturing,it explors the reformof talentcultivation methodsand strategies from aspects such as curiculum seting,practical teaching,schoolenterprisecooperation models,teaching stafconstruction,andsubjectcompetitions.Throughmore thanayearofpractical exploration,thereformhasachievedinitialresults.Thecooperationwithlocalenterprises hasbecomecloser,andstudents' practical innovation ability and employment competitiveness have been significantly improved.
