AbstractThis research deeply explores the teachingreform path ofthe steel structurecourse basedontheconceptof Outcome-BasedEducation(OBE).FirstlyitxpondstheoremeaningoftheOBEconcept.Subsequentlyitalthe necesity of the teaching reformof the steel structurecourse under the backgroundof emerging enginering education, pointingoutthatthetraditionalteachingmodeisdificulttomeetthecurrentrequirementsfortheinnovationand practical abilitiesofengieengtalents.Totsendiesofforstategiesareproposedincuingotingteacingecties toconstructacharacteristiccuiculumknowledgesystem,innovatingtheteachingmodetoralizetheconstructionofigqualitycurriculumteachingresources,adhering tomoraleducationandactively integratingtheelementsofideologicaland political education intothecurriculum,andstrengthening practicaloperations topromote theconstructionofascholenterprisecooperationpracticeplatform.Throughtheimplementationofthesereformmeasures,itisexpectedtoimprovethe teachingqualityandcultivatemore outstanding engineering talents with practical abilitiesandinnovative spirits.
