AbstractInnovation ability is anindispensablecondition for the sustainable development ofcollege students.Based on the problems existing in the teaching process of traditional environmental engineering microbiology experiments, thisarticle aims tocultivate high-quality applied talents with innovativeconsciousnes,with student development as the center and project-based teaching as the breakthrough point.It explores the curriculum system and teaching mode of project-based teaching for environmental engineering microbiology experiments,and conducts step-by-step projectbased teaching practice and teaching reflection, providing reference for the cultivation of innovative ability of environmental engineering students.
