Abstract：Thetemperatureof theheatingfurnacehascharacteristicsof nonlinearityandlarge hysteresis，withmanydisturbance factors，andtraditionalPIDcontrolersandtheirparametertuningmethodssuferinsuficiencesinmeetingtherequirementsof rapidheating andnonovershoot processcontrol.Thisarticle proposes anIMC-PIDcascadecontrolmethodbasedontheParticle SwarmOptimization（PSO）algorithm.Interalmodelcontroltheoryisaplidtoimprovethemaincontroller，andPSOalgorithm isusedtooptimizeandtune thecontrolerparameters toupgradethetracking performanceandanti-interferenceperformanceof thecontrolsystem.Numericalsimulationsareconductedtoverifytheefectivenessofthedesignedcontrolsystemincotroling the temperature of the heating furnaceunder model matching and mismatch conditions （parameters k ， T ， τ Effectiveness and feasibility under uniform perturbation of 20% ）with fast response and low overshoot characteristics.
