Application of TCD Combined with Carotid Ultrasound in the Diagnosis of Carotid Artery Stenosis in Patients with Ischemic Stroke

Abstract： Objective： To evaluate the application of TCDcombined with carotid ultrasound in the diagnosis of carotidartery stenosis inpatients with ischemic stroke.Methods：10Opatients with ischemic strokeadmited to Jilin Provincial People's Hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected toundergo TCD combined with carotid artery ultrasonographyand DSA examination.The diagnosis results ofcarotid artery stenosis in patients with ischemic stroke and the consistency of the two methods in assessing the degree of carotid artery stenosis werecompared.Results： 100 patients with ischemic strokehad different degreesofcarotidartery stenosis through clinicalcomprehensive examination. The detection accuracy of TCD combined with carotid artery ultrasound was 95% ，and the detection accuracy ofDSA was 98% .The consistency of K was 0.942. Conclusion： TCD combined with carotid artery ultrasound has a high consistency with DSA in detecting carotid artery stenosis lesions.Meanwhile，TCDcombined withcarotid artery ultrasoundalsohas theadvantages ofsimple operation，safetynon-ivasion，and high repeatability，providing a saferand more reliable examination method for thestandardization ofcarotid artery stenosis diagnosis，which is worthy of clinical promotion.
