Construction and Application of Quality Control System of Central Sterile Supply Department Based on Standardization Management

Abstract： Objective： To improve the disinfection efficiency and safety of medical equipment in hospital by constructing and implementing a central sterile supply department （CSSD） quality control system based on standardizationmanagement，and toensurethatthecleaning，packaging，sterilizationandotheraspects ofequipment meet high quality requirements.Methods： A one-year quality improvement project was carred out in the CD of the First People's Hospital of Baiyin using an interventionistic randomized controlled study design.The department was divided intothe experimentalgroup and thecontrol group.The experimental group implemented the newlydeveloped standardization management system， while the control group maintained the original workflow unchanged. The standardization management system includes detailed work instructions，qualitycontrolindicators，stafftraining plans and continuous improvement mechanisms.Through regular data colection and analysis，the observation indicators were comparedandevaluated.Results：Afteroneyearofobservationanddataaccumulation，theresultsshowedthatthe qualifiedrateof instrumentcleaningintheexperimental groupwashigher thanthatinthe control group，the qualified rate of instrument cleaning was improvedby regular spot checks，the qualified rate of packaging was also increased， the incidenceofwet packaging was decreased significantly， andthequalifiedrate of sterile items wasalso increased. All the differences were statistically significant （ （P<0.05） . Conclusion： The effective implementation of CSSD quality control system based on standardization management can significantly improve thework quality and effciency of all aspects of device processing.
