How Textbooks Construct Learners’ Self-Identity

Abstract：Identityisaprocessofforingself-consciousness.Cultivatingleaers’self-consciousnessisbothanimportanttaskof schooleducationdytofulfilltesocialpurpoeofucatextbsaeloselylatedtepsholoicalprof gence，pesitncetransforatioanddisappearanceofstudents’self-dentityMarx’soryofScialInteractionhlsthatidetity oftenoccursiniteractieprocesses.Textboksprovideinteractieresorcesndplatfosfortheonstructionofsudents’selfdentity Inthe processofreadinglearnerscommucateandinteract withindividualsandsocialgoupsitextbooks.Folowingteapproachsof self-identityostructiontextboksdoptwritingstrategiessuchas“selfiroring”，“otheevauation”，“projectieidentificatioad “role-playing”tohellaesconductself-flectiointextbook-providedinteractivecontextsandcompletethprocssofcostructing individual identity by referring to others.
