Abstract:BasedonThomas Kuhn’sclassic workThe StructureofScientificRevolutions,,thispapersystematicallyexploresthforationbackgroundandcootationdefitiooft“paradigm”toymingteeplyeealtelinearcaracteristcsaddicna tureofscienificdevelopent.Kuhn’soncptof“paradigm”didoteergeinolatio;itsforationwaseplyuencedbyhestudy ofthehistoryofience,shiftsinilosoicalthoughtandontemporarysietificpractie.Bynalyghistocaleventssucste CopernicanRevolutionandNewtonianmechanics,Kuhnproposedthe“normalscience-crisis-paradigmshift”modelofsientfcdevelopment,evealing tedynamicprocessthoughhichtesieificommunityedefiesitsresearchframeworkduringcrises.Thecootation of“paradigm”isdeplydefinedintreeaspects:fist,“paradigm”isteknowdgefoundationofsientifcesearhactivities,efiing theproblemdomainndtpicalslutiosforthesientificommunity;scond,“paadigm”istenoativestmofsientificach guidingthebehaviorandmethodchoicesofsientists;finally,a“paradigm”isasharedbeliefstructurewitinthescientificcommnity constituting the cognitive framework for understanding the world and explaining phenomena.
