Abstract： In order to train high quality railway construction talents with ideal， responsibility， struggle， it is necessary to implement the requirements of ideological and political education in the whole process of talent training， especially the teaching of professional courses should play an important role in knowledge transfer， ability training and value guidance. In combination with the training goal of professional talents， the ideological and political elements of each part of the course are deeply explored and the whole process of ideological and political teaching design is improved in the teaching of Railway Tracks courses. The research is actively carried out from the aspects of teachers' ideological and political ability training， teaching mode reform， ideological and political elements integration， and ideological and political effect evaluation. The overall study plays an important role in improving the teaching organization of the curriculum， simultaneously improving students' professional skills and ideological consciousness， and also provides reference for the ideological and political teaching reform of similar courses.
