Abstract：Thepopularizationofnewmediahasprovidedanewdirectionfortranslationstudies.Examiningsubtitletranslation fromtheperspectiveof audiovisual translationallowsustobreakawayfromthesingleresearchmodethathasfocusedonbilingual conversioninthepst，tobserehowsubtitlesrstrcthetranslatorsraslatioactivitisandhowtetraslatorexercisessubjectivitytoproduceaccessbletexts，withthehoeofprovidingsoeispirationfortheoverseasdissmnationofChinesefimadtelevisionworks.TheJapanese-subtitledversionoftheChineseTVseriesThree-BodywastranslatedundertheleadershipofaJapanese company.Throughtheanalysisofitssubtitles，itcanbefoundthatthereexistcoretextandparatextinthesubtitles，thetwotpesof textseachplaydferentroles.lthoughtetranslatorisestrictedbytetmporalandspatialconstraintsbroughtbyudiovisualtexts andgreatlysimplifiesthesubtitles，teyaieveclearexpresionhilemaitainingcotentconcsenssandbyaddingepisodetitles， annotations，and other paratexts，ensure that the audience obtains fluid and complete audiovisual experiences.
