Abstract：Plant Pathologyisacorecourseintheanimalandplantquarantine majoratYunnanAgricultural University，as wellasakeycomponentoftheknowledgesysteminotheragriculture-relateddisciplines.Itholdssignificantimportanceinthe cultivationofplantprotectionprofesionals.Formanyyears，thecoursehasadheredtotheteachingphilosophyof"guidanceby moraleducationstudent-centerednessintegrationofresearchandleaming，andcontinuousimprovement."Byoptimizingthe teachingteamandenhancing teachingcapabilities，enriching teachingcontentandexpandingresources，updating pedagogical conceptsandinnovatingteachingmethods，aswellasrefiningasessmentapproachestoemphasizeprocess-basedevaluation，the coursehasgreatlystimulatedstudents‘motivationforindependentlearning，highlightedtheircentralroleandefectivelyimproved theirmotivationforlearningandtheirmasteryofknowledge.Thisprovidesvaluableinsightsforcultivatinghigh-quality agricultural professionalswhocancontributetothedevelopmentofnewagriculturalsciencesandsupportruralrevitalization
