AbstractObjective：Toanalyzetheefectof detailednursingbasedonprotective motivationtheoryonthesleepqualityinsno ring patientstreatedwithbilevelpositiveairwaypressure（BiPAP）.Methods：Atotalof106hospitalized patientswithobstructive sleepapnea hypopnea syndrome（OSAHS，also knownas snoring）treatedfrom July2O22 to November 2024 wereselectedand dividedinto two groupsbyrandomnumber table.Amongthem，53caseswere intheconventional group，treatedwithbilevel positive airway presureandroutinenursingcare，whiletherest53cases wereintheobservation group，andaditionallreceiveddetailed nursing care basedon protective motivation theorycompared totheconventional group.Thecomplianceofthetwo groups，and the Pitsburgh Slee Quality Index（PSQI）scores，polysomnographyindicators，and Slp Apnea QualityofLife Index（SAQLI）scores adaybeforedischargefromthehospital werecomparedbeforeandaftertheinterventionResults：Theexcelentateofcompliance of patients intheobservationgroupafterinterventionwassignificantlyhigherthanthatintheconventionalgroup，withasignificant difference （ P<0.05 ）；after intervention，the total score of PSQIand related items inboth groups decreased，and scores the observation group were lower than those of the conventional group（ P<0.05 ）. After the intervention，both groups showed'an increase in slepeffciencyandtotalsleeptime withbetterresultsintheobservationgroup，andadecreaseinsleeplatencywithlowerscores in the observation group，indicating a statistically significant difference （ P<0.05 ）. Both groups showed an increase in SAQLI scoresialldimensionsaftertheintervention，ndscoresinthedetailednursinggroupwere higherthanthoseintheconvetional group，showing a statistically significant difference（ P<0.05 ）. Conclusion： The application of detailed nursing based on protectivemotivation theoryinthe treatmentofBiPAPforOSAHScanenhancepatientcompliance，improvesleepquality，srengthen sleep efficiencyand slep hours，reduce sleep latency，and be more beneficial for improving patients’qualityof life.
