Abstract: DiffrentfromthedomesticfocusonLiYu’sdramatheory,French scholars,without exception,chose totranslatethe artoflivinginXianQingOuJi.IntheirviewtheaestheticsoflifecontainedinXianQingOuJihavenotfdedwiththepassageof time.Onthecontrary,itisbeneficialforimprovingourcurentlives,andstillalifeguideworthreadingandleamingnow.Tday withtheemphasisonChineseculturegoingglobal,findingtheculturalcompatibiltybetweenChinaandFanceisofgreatsignificance inpromoting thetranslationof Chinese literature.Thisaticleintends toconcemabouttheFrenchtranslationofXian QingOu (204號 .ItarguestheWesterers'contemporaryvalueofancient Chineseaestheticculture,exploresthemainreasonswhytheartofliving in Xian Qing Ou Δf is concerned in France,reflectson thecontemporary significanceofthe dissemination of Chinese classcal literatureabroadfromtheperspectiveofcomparativeliteratureandtranslationstudies,andprovidesreferenceforSino-Westculturalcommunications.
