Abstract:AsoneoftheimportantbirthplacesofChina'srevolutionaryhistory,theredcultureofSouthwestGuangxicontainsrich revolutionaryspiritandpatriotism.Troughliteratureresearch,fieldresearchandintervies,wehaveetractedteredulturalele mentsofSouthwestGuangxi thataresuitableforthedesignofplayaids,andanalyzedtheapplicationpathsandtransformatinmethodsof theseelementsinthedesign.Wefurtherdiscussedhowtotransformthehistoricalevents,evolutionaryfigures,cultural symbolsandotherelementsof theredcultureofSouthwestGuangxiintoeducationalplayaidsthroughspecificdesignmethods.Theresultsofthestudyshowthattheintegrationofredcultureintothedsignofplayaidsnotonlyenhancesstudentshistoricalknowledge andculturalidentitybutalsoimprovestheducationalfecttroughthewayofteachingandlearing.Itprovidesnewideasand practicalpathsfortheinheritanceandinnovationofredcultureinsouthwestGuangxi,andopensupanewdirectionofaplicationin the field of play and teaching aids design.
