[Abstract] Functional training is an effectiveapproach to improving thespecialized physical fitnessof pole vaulters. Basedonthe analysis of the specific physical fitnessrequirements forpole vaulting,this article focuses onkey elements suchas speed,strength,core stability,flexibilityandcoordination.It proposes functional training methods including combined push-pullcomprehensive training,resistance一restrained training, disturbance balance training,suspended anti-rotation training,dynamic stretching training,and PNFstretching training.By using the above training methods reasonably,the speed,strength,stability,and flexibilityofpole vaulters can be efectivelyenhanced, providingastrong guarante for improving their specialized competitive ability.This articlesystematically explores the application strategies of functional training in the specialized physical training of pole vaulting, which can serve as a reference for relevant training practices.
