Construction of Paper-Based Microfluidic Chip and Its Application in Tartrazine Detection

Abstract: In this paper,a fast and simple paper-based microfluidic detection method was developed based on the specific adsorption properties of polyamide films. Based on the color reaction and pH value response mechanism of tartrazine and Cu2+ ,the detection can be completed within 10min .The results show that the detection limit of the chip is 0.005mg?mL-1 ,which has good stability and reliability,and has certain crossreaction to sunset yellow. Compared with the traditional method for detecting tartrazine,the paper based microfluidic method has the advantages of simple operation and no need for complex instruments.Eight samples randomly selected onthe market were tested,and through software analysis and visualization methods,it was posible to intuitively determine whether tartrazine was added to the sample.The method is suitable for rapid detection and screening in food field.
