Problems and Improvement Measures in Food Safety Management of Elderly Care Institutions

Abstract: This article analyzes the prominent problems in food safety management of elderly care institutions from four dimensions: institutional construction,procurement management,procesingoperations,and facilitiesand equipment, and proposes targeted improvement measures.Analysis suggests that the main risk factors are the lack of management systems, weak supply chain supervision, non-standard operating procedures,and outdated hardware conditios.To adress these issues,it is recommended to systematically improve management levels by improving institutional frameworks,optimizing fullchain supervision,and strengthening infrastructure investment,inorder to build a safe and healthy eating environment for the elderly.
