Abstract : An F2 population was constructed by crossng the cultivated buckwheat(Fagopyrum esculentum Moench.)variety Yunqiao 1 (YQ1)withthelodging-resistantanddisease-resistantwildbuckwheatYZ56,extremephenotypicindividualsfortraitsincludingplantheight,rainweightperplant,ndleafblightresistancewerescreenedbasedonagronomictraitinvestigationdataadDA wasextractedfrombuckwheatleavesusing theCTABmethodtoconstruct extremephenotypicDNApools.Theresultsdemonstrated that plant height and grain weight per plant in the F2 population showed normal distributions,with individuals exhibiting lowerleaf blightincidenceoccupyingahigherproportioninthedistribution.Theaverage grainweightperplantoftheF2populationwas7.8g, higherthnthatof heparentalinesYZ56(13.1g)andYQ1(16.7g),indicatingsignificantheterosis.Rationalutilizationofdistant germplasmesourcesforhybridizationcouldimproveprogenyyield.Pearsoncorelationaalysisrevealedhighlysignificantcoelations amongplantheight,grainweightperplant,andleafblightincidencerate.Poledsequencingcombinedwithbulkedsegregantanalysis (BSA)successfully identified 1O QTL regions associated with plant height at a 95% confidence interval,7 candidate QTL regions related to grain weight per plant,and 6 candidate QTL regions linked to leaf blight resistance.
