[Abstract] In the new era,collge students are confronted withthe dual presures of intensifiedacademic competition anddiversifiedcareerchoices,andthedilemmaofself-identityisbecoming increasinglyprominent.This paperemploys the methods of literature reviewand logicalanalysis to focus on the role of school physical education in alleviating collge students'self-identity pressure inthenewera,deeplyanalyzing itsvalue implications,practical dificulties,and implementation paths.The research reveals that school physical education areof profound significance in promoting students'physicaland mentalhealth,cultivating team spirit,and shaping positive atitudesandresilience.However, practical challnges,such as the lagingcontentandrigid teaching contentofcolege physicaleducation,the insufficient vitalityand scarce resourcesofcollegesportsassociations,andthe weak sports culture andlackofsports spirit incoleges, seriouslyhindertheirfunctions.Toeffctivelyresolvethese dificulties,institutionsofhigher educationshouldinovate the physical education teaching system,invigorate thesports asociation ecosystem,and foster arich campus sports culture.These measures aim to enhance the efectivenessof physical education in alleviating students'self-identity presure,promote students' comprehensive and healthy growth,and laya solid foundation for cultivating talents with comprehensive development in the new era.
