[Abstract] Building sports characteristicvillges isanimportant practical path toactivateruralresourcesandpromote thedevelopmentofrural industries.Through literaturereview，logicalanalysis，andothermethods，amultidimensional examination was conducted onthe construction ofsports characteristic vilages under therural revitalization strategy. The studyfound that the construction of sports characteristic vilages has the value of promoting rural revitalization， assisting in the development ofa sports power and promoting the strategic development ofa healthy China;At the same time，therearealsoproblems suchasfunding shortageandunevenresourceallocation，outdated faciliesand incomplete sports functions，talent shortage and insufficient professonal training，loose managementand weak sportsawareness， backward industries and insuffcient innovation capabilities，weak policiesand coordination mechanisms.Basedon this， it is proposed toincreasecapital investmentandoptimizeresourceallcation，improvesportsfacilitiesandehance service quality，cutivateprofesional talents andstrengthenskillcultivation，strengthenorganizational managementand enhance sports awarenes，develop thesports industryand improve innovation capabilities，strengthening policy support and improving coordination mechanism construction.
