Abstract：MoYanonce stated that his works wereinfluencedbyCarson McCullers.JudgingfromThe Balldof theSad Caféand TheDryRiver，tereisacertainfuencereltioshipbetwnthetwoworksintesofgeograpicalspaceandvlence，gotesque consciousnessndusicalepressIntesfggraicalpace，TeryRiverasakergioalaraceristdse ofhistory，anditisless matureanTeBaldofteSdCfé.However，byrootingitselfinuralCinaheDryivefosa sharpcontrastbetweentheinfiniteextensionofmetaphors，thecontiuoussurgingofthesenseoflife，andteblodyandcueltruth ofdeath，presentingitsownuniquenes.Bothwritershaveachevedthesothingefectofemotionsthoughtheinterventionof music intheir works，leavingawarmundertoneforthegrotesquestories.MoYan，whiledrawinginspirationfromMcCulers，incopoated Chineseelementsand personal experience toproducelieraryworksthatarerich inaestheticidentityandChinesetemperament， completing the transformation of creative subjectivity.
