Research on the Application of Digital Technology in the Conservation and Display of Cultural Heritage in Museum

—Taking Three Representative Cultural Relics from Gansu Provincial Museum as Examples

Abstract：This study examines thevalue andapplicationof digital technologyinthepreservationand displayof museumartifacts.Throughcase studiesofthrerepresentativeartifactsfrom theGansu Museum—theBronzeGalloping Horse，the Buddhastatue fromCave45oftheMogaoGrotoesandthehumanhad-shapedpolychromepoterybotle—thereseachsystematicallyanalyzesthe proces，accuracyandpracticalsultsofDecostructiontecologbasedopotogammetryesudyindstatthistology fcientlynablesoontactrecordingofartifacts，significantlyrducingtheriskofphysicaldamageasociatedwithtraditional conservationmethods，andthatinteractivedisplaysgreatlyenhancepublicengagement withculturalheritage.Inadition，thersearch criticallydiscussestelimitatiosandpotentialissofdigialtchologyapcations，suchasunevendistributionoftecicalre sources，teeakeningof raditionalmusemfunctions，andchalengesinthelong-tempreservationofdigitalarchives.Tearticle recommendsthatmuseumscarefullselectsuitabletechnologiesandoptimizedatamanagementanddisplaymethodsintheirdigital transformation，in order to balance the preservation and dissemination of cultural heritage sustainably.
