Abstract: The application of mind mapping in English language education and language teaching not only follows the basic rulesofmemoring,readingandthinkingtraining,whichhelpsleaersdeepentheirunderstanding,butalsoectivelyfaciliates people'slogical thinking and greatly improves the eficiencyofEnglish teaching and learning.Asa teaching tool,mind mapping canefectivelypromotelearners’activeexplorationanddiscoveryofknowledgewhenproperlyused inclassroomteaching,highlighting the characteristics of the teaching mode of “discovery learning”and giving full play to its advantages.
