Abstract： Asafamous scholarand outstanding literary theoristin thelate Qing Dynasty，Liu Xizai’saesthetic ideas ocupyan importantposition inthe historyofclasical Chinese aesthetics.ThecorecategoryofLiu Xizai'saestheticontology，“Dao”has sparkedextensivediscusions intheacademiccommunityduetoitsabsorptionofideasfromdifferentschoolsofthought through outhistory.LiuXizaiformedhisuniqueaestheticontologythroughin-depthexcavationandintegrationoftheConfucian“benevolenceandrighteousness”，Taoist“nature”and Buddhistand Zenculture，andmeanwhileabsorbedthe essenceofthephilosophy ofthe BookofChanges，realizingaprofoundinsightandperfectsummaryofthecategoryof“Tao”.LiuXizai’saestheticontolo gyofthe“Dao”categoryhas enriched Chineseclasicalaestheticthoughtwithitsprofoundculturalheritage，diverseideological integration，andgorousgicalonstruction，ndhsasoproidedimportantspiationforfuturetoreticalesearchdrtistic creation.
