Abstract：Aiming toexplorethemainconnectionbetweenthematerial expresionofarchitecture itselfandregionalarchitecture，this paperemploysvariousresearchmethodssuchasliteraturereviewandinductionanddeduction，basedonthetheoryofre gionalculture，tonalyzmultiplearchitecturalcases tosummarizethemaincontentsofmaterialexpresioninegionalachitec ture.Thepuposeistoexamineteegioalcharacteristicsofchiteturefromtheperspetieofregioalachitectureanddiscusstheconflictsandintegrationbetweeregionalityandthedevelopmentofarchitectureintenewera，withthehopeofproviding some help to thecurrent rigid and stagnant situation inthe field ofarchitectural creation in China.
