[Abstract] Helicobacter pylori (Hp)transmisson routes are key factors influencing the epidemiological characteristicsofHp infections inpopulations,andHpbiofilmformation iscriticalforinfectionpersistenceand transmission eficiency.As complex microbial aggregates,Hp biofilms undergo three important phases:aggregation, growth,andfragmentation.Hpbiofilms havebeenassociated withoral-oral,fecal-oral,andother transmission routes.Hpbiofilmsareassociated withoral-oral,fecal-oral,andotherroutesof transmisson,andthepotential mechanismsofactionare primarilythrough theirabilitytoadheretoHptofacilitateHpcolonizationandsurvival,to assist Hp in counteracting antibioticsand the host immune system,and to enhance survival and transmision through aggregation.
