[Abstract] Objective: To study the effect of Phloroglucinol combined with low-frequency electrical stimulation on the urination of primiparas with postpartum urinary retention (PUR).Method: A total of 80 primiparas with urinary retention afterdeliveryat Dongkeng Hospital of Dongguan from June 2O22 to May2O24 were prospectivelyselected and divided into control group and observation group according to the digital random table method,with 4O cases in each group.The control group was treated with intravenous injection of Phloroglucinol, whilethe observation group was treated with low-frequency electrical stimulationon the basis of the control group. The therapeutic efects and voiding functions before and after treatment of the two groups were compared.The time of the first spontaneous voiding,voiding volume,residual urine volume in the bladder,urodynamic indicators, occurrence of complications and patient satisfaction of the two groups after treatment were observed and recorded. Result: Comparedwith the control group,the observation group had earlierfirstspontaneous urination,less residual urinevolume in thebladderand moreurinevolume( P <0.05).After the treatment,thebladder pressure,urethral distribution pressure and maximum urinary flow rate during urine storage in both groups were higher thanthose in the control group,and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group ( P <0.05). After the treatment,the total effectiverateand the total satisfactionwith treatment intheobservation group were both higher than those in the control group ( P <0.05).There wasno statisticallysignificant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups ( P* >0.05). Conclusion: The effect of Phloroglucinol combined with low-frequency electrical stimulation inthe treatmentof PUR in primiparas is remarkable.Itcan significantlyimprove theurination function of parturients, increase their satisfaction, and has good safety.
