磁致旋光效應(yīng)實(shí)驗(yàn)的改進(jìn)

摘 要 針對(duì)目前高校開(kāi)設(shè)的磁致旋光效應(yīng)實(shí)驗(yàn)中存在的不足,將相關(guān)實(shí)驗(yàn)公式進(jìn)一步推導(dǎo),得到同種旋光玻璃的費(fèi)爾德常數(shù)和入射光波波長(zhǎng)的數(shù)學(xué)關(guān)系,并將其擴(kuò)充到實(shí)驗(yàn)中,使得該實(shí)驗(yàn)項(xiàng)目在內(nèi)容設(shè)計(jì)上更加飽滿、嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)和完善。

Improvement of Experiment of Magneto-Optical Rotation Effect

Abstract In view of the shortcomings in the experimental project of magneto-optical rotation effect in universities, their relevant theories are further deduced to obtain the mathematical relationship between Verdet constant and incident light wavelength of the same kind of optical rotation glass. The corresponding content can be extended to the experi-ment, which not only makes the experimental project more full, rigorous and perfect, but also further promotes students’ thinking.

法拉第在探索電、磁、光之間的聯(lián)系時(shí),發(fā)現(xiàn)當(dāng)一束線偏振光穿過(guò)具有固有磁矩的介質(zhì)時(shí),如果在光的傳播方向上加上磁場(chǎng),那么出射光的偏振面將轉(zhuǎn)過(guò)一個(gè)角θ,這種現(xiàn)象被稱為法拉第效應(yīng)或磁致旋光效應(yīng)[1-2]。(剩余1935字)
