[Abstract] Basedontheconceptof evidence-basededucation,thisresearch explores itsapplicationin physical education courses in private collges and universities by using methods such as literature review,expert interviews,and field research.Research suggests that from the perspective ofcollge physicaleducation teaching,the constituent elements of evidence-based education includes three aspects: physical education teachers'teaching practice,students'active participation in physical education learning,and multiple subjects'colaborative cooperatio.In practice,there are problems in physical education teaching in privatecolleges and universities,such as a single course content system, solidified teaching methods and means,an incomplete course teaching asessment and evaluation mechanism,and low interest in physical education learning among students.Practical pathsareas follows: Innovate the physical education course content system and enrich students'learning experience; Adopt diverse and more targeted teaching methods and means guided by teaching content; Continuously optimize the content and methods of teaching evaluation and build a more developmental and educational evaluation system; Adopting multiple measures to enhance students' learning

enthusiasm.
