[Abstract] Objective: To explore the effct of core strength training on the special physical fitnessimprovement of college table tennis players.Methods:2Ocollge tabletennis players(national level2)wererecruitedandrandomly divided into experimental groupand control group,with1O ineach group,fora total of12 weeksof training experiment.The experimental group underwent core strength training,while the control group followed the routine training plan.Results: After12 weeks of training,theexperimental group showed significant improvements in siting posture rotation throwing,lateral sliding,A-shaped movement,and 6Os double shake skipping rope performance ( P< 0.05),with statistical signifcance; Althoughthecontrol groupshowedsome improvementinvarioustests,thediffrence was not statistically significant (P>0.05) . Conclusion: After 12 weeks of core strength training and routine training, the special physical qualityof tabletennis players hasbeen improved,butthe eficiencyofcore strength training is higher and the improvement effectismore significant.
